AFN operate outside bootcamps at Whitlingham Country Park and Catton Park throughout the week.  

Sessions are for all abilities of fitness from absolute beginner to advanced.

IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA APPLIES TO YOU, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES COME TO A BOOTCAMP, ISOLATE FOR 7 DAYS (or 14 days if applicable, see below) AND ONLY RETURN AFTER THIS PERIOD IF NO SYMPTOMS ARE PRESENT AND YOU HAVE THE ALL CLEAR ACCORDING TO THE LATEST GOVERNMENT ADVICE BELOW.

FAQ

Yes we cater for all abilities.  

Classes are written so that everyone there will be pushed to their fitness level.  

Some sessions are banded Green (Beginner) Yellow (Intermediate) and Red (Advanced).  The sessions are run in the same format for all but the exercises given may be slightly varied dependant on your band.

You do not need to bring any equipment as this is provided.  The majority of Catton Park sessions are bodyweight only or we incorporate resistance bands.

At Whitlingham we are able to use more equipment, which is sanitised and supplied for your workout.

All exercises can be adapted to your current level of strength or fitness.

We recommend you bring a water bottle and hand sanitiser.  A backpack is a good idea too.

These classes are for over 16’s.  No maximum age group.

The classes are designed to test every level.  An advanced class is not required nor is a beginners class.  All abilities will be pushed to their level in the Bootcamp.

  • beacuse us very good whate he does and very relax to be around and no hows to do his job rigth as well I've bean training with Craig and he push me to my target goal nearly half way there as well as well he very happy and helpfully person snd of it wont for him I dont no were I would be as well if any body want a training like I do then he one off top ppl you can go with I recommend him to any and I enjoy training with him and I would not change it to anybody read this he one off to best and always will be and he no training would never change him and if I'm honest this person has done so much for me and getting me to were I want to be this time last year I did not no were I was until I started training with him thanks to him for what's he done one best I recommend this person always

  • I had a training session with Craig today.I hadn't been to the gym in a few months but I did surprisingly well, Craig's encouragement helped. I learnt a few new exercises too. I liked the fact there wasn't any equipment involved, the flexibility means you could do it at home if you wanted.Craig explained what muscle groups the various exercises focused on and gave a thorough demonstration of how to do the exercises correctly.I thoroughly enjoyed the session and recommend his personal training skills to anyone, whether you're starting out or want to change up your exercise routine.Thanks again Craig 😊

His pricing is very reasonable and I get a lot out of each session, he even manages to keep each session interesting by introducing new exercises that are easy to do on your own inbetween sessions.

  • Having attended plenty of exercise classes in the past I have to say Craig's bootcamps are my absolute favourite, they are engaging, fun and a great workout.Craig is patient when you need a little more guidance and even if its pouring down with rain the sessions fly by.Couldn't recommend more and perfect for all levels of fitness.

  • Craig is extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date about all things body, weight and training related. He also has a kind, respectful and very much collaborative approach to the sessions which means I don't have to think too hard about what's working and what's not - I can just trust the flow. For the past 10 months he's ensured that I have a clear set of targets agreed with him, tailored sessions to suit my changing energy levels and pre-existing injuries and a good level of confidence that I can do this. Craig also carries out regular reviews/adjustment to my routine. Overall I've seen the results in terms of improved strength, stamina and mental well being. Craig doesn't make my efforts to get-fit feel like a chore and I have looked forward to going to the gym for our sessions every week since the beginning.

I’m a boot camp veteran and love this type of exercise - if you’re not give it a go - in the current climate it’s the perfect way to exercise safely.

  • I have been working with Craig for several months and can thoroughly reccommend his PT sessions. As someone with rather tricky requirements (I broke my neck, pelvis, hip and wrist a few years ago and have to be careful with what I do) he has been fantastic in pushing me, whilst remaining appreciative of the physical limitations I have. He is always flexible which really helps as my work diary changes often and at short notice. We have been using Craig's home gym and this is really convenient for my location and has everything you need for a good workout. Highly recommended.
